We are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Engineer to support the Natural Ingredients business in Livingston, California.

This role will involve providing expertise in the design, modification, construction, and start-up of capital projects for Sensient Natural Ingredients.

The successful candidate will assist in trouble shooting equipment and process problems, coordinate the work of outside engineering firms or contractors, and perform preliminary engineering for various departments.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Assisting in the identification and justification of capital projects
  • Developing, engineering, implementing, and monitoring all aspects of projects, including timelines and resource allocation
  • Managing various trades during projects to ensure proper building construction and installation of equipment occurs on schedule
  • Preliminary engineering for various departments, including concepting solutions and designing modifications to existing buildings, equipment, and processes

The ideal candidate will have a general understanding of basic engineering technologies and expertise in core technologies applicable to the business unit, with 1-3 years of experience in a manufacturing facility.

Required skills include working knowledge of drafting tools such as AutoCAD and AutoCAD Inventor, as well as design techniques, tools, and principles involved in production of precision technical plans, blueprints, drawings, and models.
