About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Technician to join our team in MUNDELEIN, Illinois. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for setting molds, operating injection molding machines, and maintaining equipment to ensure high-quality products.

Responsibilities
  • Set up molds and operate injection molding machines to produce high-quality parts.
  • Understand and follow work orders or setup parameter sheets to ensure accurate processing.
  • Complete basic troubleshooting and escalate complex issues to maintenance personnel.
  • Write maintenance work orders for part quality and machine issues to facilitate repairs.
  • Identify and document process parameters such as hot runner controls to optimize production.
Requirements
  • 2 years of experience with injection mold equipment setup or operation for Process Tech 1.
  • 3-4 years of process tech experience and independent machine running experience for Process Tech 2.
  • Ability to understand hot runner alarms and estop locations.
  • Troubleshoot equipment independently to minimize downtime.
  • Understanding of basic functions of molds, machine HMI screens, and material loading vacuum systems.
