Job Summary

The Maintenance Supervisor is a key member of the LSA MANAGEMENT, INC. team, responsible for delivering exceptional customer service to residents and ensuring the maintenance of the property. This role requires a strong background in multifamily property maintenance, with a minimum of 3 years of experience and 1 year of supervisory experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Resident Relations and Customer Service
    • Provide exceptional customer service to residents, responding to their needs and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
    • Ensure consistency and follow-through in dealing with residents on all matters.
    • Enforce policies of the community as delegated by the Community Manager.
  • Maintenance Management
    • Coordinate and schedule maintenance activities, including repairs and replacements, to ensure the property is well-maintained and safe for residents.
    • Inspect the property daily to identify and correct hazardous conditions or liability concerns.
    • Manage and order maintenance supplies, adhering to budget guidelines set by the Community Manager.
  • Staff Leadership
    • Supervise, train, and schedule maintenance activities for maintenance staff.
    • Monitor work progress and provide immediate assistance and instruction as needed.
    • Provide input for employee performance evaluations.
Requirements
  • At least 3 years of multifamily property maintenance experience.
  • One year of supervisory experience required.
  • Expertise in general plumbing, HVAC, appliance repair, electrical, and carpentry work.
  • HVAC certification.
  • Very strong organizational skills and ability to handle multiple priorities.
  • Solid interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Must be available for on-call and weekend work.
