Job Overview

Alabama Professional Services is seeking a skilled Sales and Service Technician to join our team. As a key member of our service department, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and sales support to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess customer needs and recommend appropriate products and services
  • Service and maintain HVAC and plumbing equipment
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest products, techniques, and regulations to provide accurate information and advice to clients
  • Work closely with installation crews to ensure seamless execution of proposed plans
  • Solve problems and identify opportunities to cross-sell
  • Foster strong relationships with clients through exceptional service and communication
Requirements
  • Ability to explain technical concepts to clients in a clear and accessible manner
  • Experience working with HVAC or plumbing equipment preferred, but not required
  • Technical/mechanical background and ability to work under minimal supervision
  • Ability to handle rejection, overcome obstacles, and maintain a positive attitude in a competitive sales environment
  • Proficiency in languages other than English is preferred, but not required
  • Skilled in operating computer software
  • Ability to pass a comprehensive background and drug screen
  • Ability to work overtime, if needed
