Responsibilities include:
Key Responsibilities- Ensuring patients feel comfortable before their examination
- Sterilizing dental instruments properly
- Conducting initial mouth screenings and reviewing oral health history
- Identifying conditions such as gingivitis, caries, or periodontitis
- Cleaning and protecting patients' teeth (e.g., removing plaque or applying fluoride)
- Educating patients of all ages on proper oral care techniques

- Assisting dentists in selecting appropriate treatments for various diseases
- Maintaining accurate documentation and charts on each patient
- Monitoring supplies
To succeed in this role, you should possess:
Required Skills and Qualifications- Proven experience as a Dental Hygienist or similar profession
- Dental Hygiene license required
- In-depth knowledge of health and safety regulations in this field (e.g., HIPAA)
- Experience in preparing and maintaining dental equipment
- Outstanding communication skills
- A patient and friendly personality
- Attention to detail
- Stamina to meet the physical demands of the job
- Diploma in Dental Hygiene (preferred)
