CVP is seeking an experienced professional to fill the role of Chief Compliance Officer.

Overview

Audit Lead plays a critical role in ensuring the organization's compliance with security architecture standards. This position requires strong leadership skills, strategic thinking, and excellent communication abilities.

Salary Information

The estimated annual salary for this position ranges from $120,000 to $180,000, based on industry standards and location.

Job Responsibilities
  • Manage a small team of audit/compliance resources to ensure seamless delivery of services.
  • Develop and monitor compliance with security architecture standards, including technical, data, and software standards.
  • Provide auditing and compliance support of NIH security policies, ensuring alignment with federal regulations.
  • Support monthly compliance audits of security updates, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with the ISSO to assess and assure compliance of IT security policies from NIH, HHS, NIST, OMB, and other relevant authorities.
  • Participate in stakeholder meetings through workgroups and with the NIH ISSO, fostering open communication and cooperation.
  • Deliver regular data calls to NIH, monthly executive reports, and an annual report on IT security and privacy refresher training, providing valuable insights and recommendations.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Proven experience managing a small audit/compliance support team, with a track record of success in ensuring regulatory compliance.
  • Experience working with Federal government clients, preferably NIH, with a deep understanding of their security policies and procedures.
  • Cyber certifications, such as CISSP, are highly desirable.
