We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Early Childhood Education Specialist to join our team at The Goddard School in Milton, MA. As a key member of our staff, you will play a pivotal role in nurturing children and preparing them for lifelong learning.

The Goddard School in Milton is a state-of-the-art premier early childhood center that offers the best preparation for social, physical, and academic success for children from 6 weeks to 6 years. Our renowned curriculum and philosophy are inspired by Piaget and Erikson and focus on play-based learning.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement developmentally appropriate curriculum
  • Advance physical and intellectual competence by adapting program activities to meet individual needs
  • Communicate effectively with parents and fellow staff members
  • Provide positive guidance to support social and emotional development
  • Establish positive relationships with families
  • Ensure a well-run program by developing lesson plans and building teamwork
  • Understand and implement Goddard's Health & Safety procedures

Requirements:

  • A 2 or 4-year degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field (will consider current enrollment in pursuit of a degree)
  • Minimum of 18 ECE credits
  • EEC Certification preferred (will work with you to get certified)
  • Ability to work between 7:00 AM and 6:00 PM
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
