Community Outreach Advocate

We are seeking a compassionate and committed individual to join our team as a Community Outreach Advocate. In this role, you will develop supportive relationships with clients and assist children and families by addressing needs and de-escalating crisis situations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Respond to crisis calls within 60 minutes
- Work with children, teens, adults, and families who are experiencing immediate crisis
- Provide positive intervention, stabilization, de-escalation, and conflict management using a trauma-informed and family-centered approach
- Document and submit all services in a timely fashion
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Child Welfare Experience (preferred)
Additional Qualifications:
- Completion of DCFS criminal background check and fingerprinting
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Obtain an insured vehicle
- At least three years of driving experience with a valid driver's license
- Successful completion of all required trainings related to the position
