As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely capture of charges and resolution of claims. Your expertise in ICD, CPT, and HCPCS coding principles will be essential in maintaining compliance and optimizing revenue cycle performance.
Key Responsibilities- Coach and develop supervisory team members to ensure effective leadership and communication.
- Collaborate with the leadership team to address provider needs and ensure consistent communication.
- Develop, implement, and monitor quality assurance reviews to ensure adherence to departmental policies.
- Assess and implement workflow and volume adjustments to ensure a balanced workload among team members.
- Stay up-to-date with coding changes and communicate them effectively to the team.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement.
- Bachelor's degree or 8 years of related experience.
- 1-3 years of supervisory experience preferred.
- CPC or coding credential required.
- Professional presence and effective presentation skills.
This role requires working in a fast-paced office/hospital environment. Consistent sitting and some walking, standing, stretching, and bending are required. Some travel may be necessary.
