Job Title: Registered Nurse II - Night Shift

We are seeking a dynamic Registered Nurse II to join our team at Pappas Rehabilitation Hospital for Children. As a Registered Nurse II, you will provide primary nursing care to patients by administering medications, injections, and treatments, while also evaluating patients' conditions and notifying physicians of specific abnormalities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide primary nursing care to patients, including administering medications, injections, and treatments.
  • Evaluate patients' conditions and notify physicians of specific abnormalities.
  • Function as charge nurse on assigned unit, directing nursing care of patients and developing individual care plans.
  • Respond to emergency situations and initiate emergency medical procedures.
Requirements:
  • Current and valid registration as a professional nurse under the Massachusetts Board of Registration in Nursing.
  • A minimum of one year of full-time experience as a registered nurse in a recognized hospital, clinic, or medical facility.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and accurate records.
  • Talent for reading and interpreting documents such as physician's orders and treatment plans.
  • Capacity to interact with individuals who are under physical and/or emotional stress.
