We are seeking a skilled Clinical Nurse Coordinator to join our team at Centerpoint Medical Center, part of HCA Healthcare, the nation's leading provider of healthcare services. This is an exciting opportunity for nurses who prioritize patient-centered care and teamwork.
Job SummaryThe Clinical Nurse Coordinator will assist with admission and discharge processes, participate in quality assessment, and collaborate with subject matter experts to create a supportive work environment. You will also engage in service recovery and support employee rounding initiatives.
Responsibilities- Assist with admission and discharge processes to ensure efficient throughput and high-quality care.
- Participate in ongoing assessment of patient care services and collaborate with management to improve outcomes.
- Support a patient-first philosophy and engage in service recovery when necessary.
- Operationalize nursing strategies, including hourly rounds and other initiatives, to enhance engagement.
- Provide recommendations related to interviewing, selecting, and training new staff, as well as implementing courses of action to ensure a competitive organization.
- BLS certification within 30 days of employment start date.
- Registered Nurse license.
- Associate or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
