Job Description

As a Data Specialist Innovation Engineer at ZF Group, you will be responsible for proposing data acquisition opportunities, calculating and presenting economic value of concepts, specifying technical system requirements, designing tests and validation plans, creating documentation, internally evangelizing new data concepts, analyzing complex data, and serving as a subject matter expert for vehicle connectivity and data usage.

You will work closely with cross-functional development teams to support the development of innovative products and services that improve transportation safety and efficiency.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Master's degree in Engineering preferred.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in automotive system development, preferably with machine learning and deep learning models.
  • Experience working with large data models and ability to explain sophisticated data science concepts.
  • Self-directed and highly self-motivated individual who can create value by improving transportation safety and efficiency using data products and services.
  • Proven team player with an international mindset and ability to develop software using languages such as C, Python, Matlab, or Simulink.
