Overview of the Role

This position is responsible for overseeing the success of our stores and teams. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in a supervisory or leadership role and excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead by example, demonstrating knowledge of systems, Company standards, account management, recovery, job duties, and performance reports.
  • Identify local marketing strategies, utilize business-to-business partnership opportunities, obtain referrals, host and participate in community and in-store events to drive growth and revenue.
  • Enforce adherence to quality standards, procedures, and local and state laws and regulations. Audit loan/pawn agreements and transactions to ensure staff compliance with procedures and practices.
  • Supervise and maintain office security, including cash management and loss prevention. Verify and document cash overages/shortages, vault, inventory, deposits, and expenses. Conduct proper opening and closing procedures.
  • Examine, evaluate, and process loan/pawn applications and all relevant transactions, assessing risk within established limits.
  • Participate in the selection, review, hiring, and retention of new employees.
  • Develop work schedules in accordance with budget, workloads, and store needs, ensuring optimal staffing levels.
  • Handle complex customer situations with integrity and professionalism.
Requirements
  • A minimum of two years of experience in a supervisory or leadership role in retail, financial, service, or related industries.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work phone, Point of Sale, Microsoft Office, and other systems.
  • A valid driver's license, auto insurance, and personal vehicle are required for use throughout the workday (mileage compensated).
  • Must be at least 18 years of age (19 in Alabama).
  • A background check is required.
  • The ability to meet the physical demands of the position, which frequently include standing up to 90% of the time, moving and transporting up to 25 pounds, and operating mechanical controls.

Compensation

Based on industry standards and market research, the estimated salary for this position is between $60,000 and $80,000 per year, depending on location and experience. This figure includes base pay and potential bonuses.
