About the Role

 

We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team. As an Occupational Therapist at Evergreen Life Services, you will be responsible for providing clinical occupational therapy services designed to meet the needs of individual(s) served in the assigned caseload. Your primary objective will be to determine methods of screening and evaluation, compile results, and design occupational therapy treatment programs tailored to specific dysfunctions.

 

Key Responsibilities

• Select, administer, and interpret individual screenings and assessments to develop program services.
• Plan, organize, and direct specialized Occupational Therapy programs.
• Provide Occupational Therapy services to an assigned caseload of individuals, including direct treatment and documentation of progress.
• Conduct annual assessments and evaluate the effectiveness of practices and programs to improve and maintain quality of services.
• Collaborate with supervisors in developing, revising, and implementing Occupational Therapy programs and services.
• Participate in departmental/unit meetings and staffing as required.
• Provide in-service training to staff on individual program needs and progress.
• Evaluate, design, and instruct staff on fabrication of orthotic devices and adaptive equipment.

Requirements

• Masters degree in a related field from an accredited university.
• Minimum of two years' experience as an Occupational Therapist.
• Prior experience with the developmentally disabled population preferred.
• Working knowledge of assessments, diagnosis, and treatment of various disorders.
• Meet and maintain requirements of applicable state agencies, including good standing with state abuse and neglect registry.

Physical Requirements

• Constantly moves about to coordinate work.
• Occasionally assist consumers physically by lifting and positioning them as appropriate.
• Regularly exposed to stressful situations.

Compensation

 

The estimated salary for this position is between $65,000 and $85,000 per year, depending on qualifications and location. A comprehensive benefits package is also included.
