Premier Trailer Leasing is a 'USA Today Top Work Place' and one of the largest trailer leasing and rental companies in the nation, specializing in long-term leasing and short-term rental services for over-the-road vans, flatbeds, refrigerated equipment and chassis with an inventory of 60,000+ trailers and a growing network of locations across the United States.
Job ScopeThis position requires strong analytical and technical abilities, and requires fast, but carefully thought-out results to exceed customer expectations. You will be a champion of customer service and help Premier Trailer Leasing meet operational and organizational financial objectives.
Key Responsibilities- Inspect trailers to ensure they are safe and meet Federal Highway Guidelines and other industry regulations.
- Generate customer rental agreements.
- Coordinate all work performed on trailers with vendors and ensure it follows Premier's policies and procedures.
- Manage and reconcile all equipment inventory, both out-bound and in-bound gate activity daily.
- Assist in the transportation of equipment between branches and to customers and vendors.
- Ensure all customers have the proper insurance prior to renting a trailer.
- Assist with Accounts Receivable collections.
- Daily administrative paperwork and filing.
- Assist in answering phones, responding to emails and questions from customers.

- Safety Awareness: Ability to follow regulations and procedures, check equipment and recognize hazards to ensure personal and public safety.
- Verbal Communication Skills: Ability to express ideas or information through the use of the spoken word.
- Written Communication Skills: Ability to express ideas clearly in documents with basic organization structure and grammar.
- Problem Solving/Diagnosis Skills: Ability to examine all possible problems by collecting evidence and weighing factual information.
- Mechanical Aptitudes: Working knowledge of basic mechanical principles, operations and functioning.
- BA degree or 2 years' experience in trailer leasing industry.
- Excellent communication skills, self-motivated, self-starter, sense of urgency, personable and organized.
- Ability to physically inspect trailers inside and out.
- Walking up and down flights of stairs as needed and continually walking the yard.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suites - Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
