About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Nursing Services to join our team at Haven Behavioral Healthcare.

Job Summary

The Assistant Director of Nursing (RN) provides oversight for nursing care and supports direct care staff. This role involves coordinating responses to incidents, errors, and sentinel events, as well as assisting with staffing, education, and direct patient care as needed.

The successful candidate will have inpatient experience and a strong understanding of behavioral health services. They will be passionate about delivering high-quality care and committed to creating a supportive environment for both patients and staff.

Responsibilities
  • Provide oversight for the provision of care and ensure that nursing practices meet regulatory standards.
  • Serve as a resource to direct care staff, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Coordinate on-site response to incidents, errors, and sentinel events, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
  • Assist the DON with hiring, orientation, staffing, staff education, and other activities as assigned.
  • Provide direct patient care under the Registered Nurse job description when necessary and/or assigned.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited RN program.
  • Inpatient experience strongly preferred.
Benefits
