Job Summary:
The University of Miami is seeking a highly skilled Radiology Technologist III to join our team in Miami, Florida. As a key member of our department, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest quality diagnostic images with minimal radiation exposure.

About the Role:
This full-time position requires a graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology/Diagnostic Imaging program, with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience and certifications in CPR and BLS. Your expertise in operating radiographic equipment, developing new protocols, and assisting with education and training will be invaluable to our team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist radiologists in developing new imaging techniques and protocols
  • Operate radiographic equipment to obtain high-quality diagnostic images
  • Develop and maintain effective interpersonal relationships with patients, physicians, and other staff members
  • Maintain accurate records and perform data analysis as needed
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care

Requirements:
To succeed in this role, you must possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to exercise sound judgment in critical situations. A Bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred, along with certification in EKG and medical assistant/phlebotomy. Previous experience in medical assistance and urgent care settings is highly desirable.
