We are seeking an experienced Internal Medicine Physician to join our team at the Veterans Health Administration in Los Angeles. As a Medical Director, you will have the opportunity to lead patient-centered medical homes and provide longitudinal and preventative care to a panel of Veterans.

The VA Greater Los Angeles Healthcare System is a premier institution committed to delivering high-quality care to over 1.4 million veterans across five counties. With two ambulatory care centers, a tertiary care facility, and eight community-based outpatient clinics, we provide comprehensive health services.

We offer a competitive salary range of $250,000-$270,000 per year, with up to $15,000 annual performance-based award. Additionally, you will receive free liability protection with tail coverage provided, paid time off, dental, medical, life insurance, pension, thrift savings plan (401K) with 5% salary match, survivor benefits, continuing education opportunities, and public service loan forgiveness program eligibility.

As a Medical Director, you will be part of a dynamic team that values innovation, collaboration, and engaging veterans in research that benefits both veterans and the broader community. We are committed to advancing veteran healthcare through one of the VA's largest research programs, featuring six research centers of excellence.

To be successful in this role, you must possess a Doctor of Medicine or equivalent degree, a current, full, and unrestricted license from any state or US territory, completion of residency in an accredited core specialty, and board certification. A minimum of 5 years of practice experience is preferred but not required.
