The Outer Banks Hospital is a 21-bed critical access hospital providing inpatient and outpatient services. Its campus includes four ORs, a medical/surgical unit, labor & delivery suite, rehabilitation center, cancer treatment center, and 24-hour emergency department.

Job SummaryWe seek an experienced Speech Language Pathologist to develop and implement therapeutic speech and language development programs and services. The ideal candidate will examine, test, diagnose, and administer treatments for patients with speech and language disorders, hearing disorders, and/or motor disorders.
Responsibilities- Develop and implement therapeutic speech and language development programs and services.
- Examine, test, diagnose, and administer treatments for patients with speech and language disorders, hearing disorders, and/or motor disorders.
- Observe and evaluate diagnostic and treatment effects and communicate results with medical and health care staff.
To be successful, you must have a minimum of a Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited university. You must also hold a North Carolina license in Speech-Language Pathology or be eligible for same. A certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology awarded by the American Speech-Language and Hearing Association is required. Current American Heart Association BLS Healthcare Provider status is also required.

CompensationThe estimated annual salary for this role is $65,000 - $85,000, depending on experience. Offers of employment are subject to successful completion of all pre-employment screenings.
