Job Summary

The Pastoral Care Specialist provides spiritual support and care to patients, families, and staff, promoting emotional and spiritual well-being. This role requires a strong understanding of pastoral care principles, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities
  • Provide spiritual support and care to patients, families, and staff, including pastoral counseling and spiritual assessment.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans that address the unique needs of each patient.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care and support.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential records of patient interactions and care plans.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to enhance clinical skills and knowledge.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in theology, divinity, or related field.
  • Ordination or commission to function in a ministry of pastoral care.
  • Minimum of 5 years of pastoral experience, preferably in a clinical setting.
  • A minimum of 1 unit (400 hours) of Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE) accredited by a recognized organization.
Salary and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $75,000 - $90,000 per year, depending on experience. In addition, we provide a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, retirement savings plan, and paid time off.
