As they continue to expand, they're seeking a skilled Drywall Installation Estimator to join their team.
Compensation
The estimated salary for this position is between $70,000 and $90,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
Job Description
The Drywall Installation Estimator will play a crucial role in evaluating project requirements and preparing detailed cost estimates for drywall installation. This demanding role requires a blend of industry expertise, precise estimation skills, and strong communication abilities to ensure that projects are accurately priced and managed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Estimate Preparation: Analyze project plans and specifications to create accurate and detailed cost estimates for drywall installation projects.
- Site Assessments: Perform site visits to measure areas, evaluate conditions, and identify any potential issues or additional needs.
- Cost Analysis: Assess labor, material, and overhead costs to develop comprehensive estimates that ensure competitiveness and accuracy.
- Proposal Development: Prepare and submit bid proposals, including detailed cost breakdowns, project timelines, and scope of work.
- Collaboration: Coordinate with project managers, contractors, and clients to clarify project requirements and address any discrepancies or issues.
- Documentation: Keep detailed records of estimates, changes, and communications for accurate tracking and reporting.
- Industry Knowledge: Stay informed about the latest trends, materials, and pricing in the drywall industry to provide informed and up-to-date estimates.
Qualifications:
- At least 2 years of experience in drywall estimating or a similar role within the construction industry.
- A proven track record with commercial drywall or commercial construction projects.
- Strong knowledge of drywall installation techniques, materials, and pricing.
- Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent analytical, mathematical, and communication skills.
- Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
