Job Title: Commercial Lines Account Manager

McGriff is seeking a highly skilled Commercial Lines Account Manager to join our team. As a key member of our account management team, you will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with clients and carriers, providing exceptional client service, and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain key client and carrier relationships through regular communication and in-person meetings.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive client service plans to address client business needs and risk management goals.
  • Lead the client service team in service activities related to administration, billing, claims issues, and problem-solving.
  • Coordinate internal and external activities to ensure timely and accurate handling of new and renewal accounts.
  • Identify and pursue cross-selling opportunities and suggest new lines of coverage.
  • Monitor and manage the renewal process for assigned clients, coordinating meetings with clients and producers to present renewal options.
  • Lead the marketing of smaller, less complex accounts and prepare marketing information for producers and clients.
  • Manage the implementation process, preparing and delivering all applicable forms to clients.
  • Formulate plans with producers to conduct relationship management meetings and visits with assigned clients.
  • Stay up-to-date on new products, legislative changes, and industry developments through ongoing training and education.
  • Mentor team members and provide guidance and support as needed.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and related training.
  • Five years of relevant insurance industry experience.
  • Appropriate insurance license - Property & Casualty.
  • Strong client relation skills, excellent communication skills, and service orientation.
  • Ability to utilize leadership skills, provide direction, and motivate others to maximize productivity and team morale.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in basic computer applications, such as Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to travel, occasionally overnight.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Advanced degree.
  • Certification in the field of endeavor.
  • Experience with Requests for Proposal.
