Job Summary: DSJ Global is seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to support capital projects at a leading paper manufacturer. The ideal candidate will have expertise in electrical design, installation, and maintenance, with a focus on MCCs, drives, and control systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Electrical Design and Installation: Lead or assist in electrical design, installation, and maintenance for capital projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Electrical Distribution Systems: Work on electrical distribution systems (480V to 13.8kV) and control loops for pressure/flow control, providing electrical expertise throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Project Management: Oversee 3-4 projects, coordinating with vendors, consultants, and contractors to ensure timely and within-budget completion.
  • Electrical Expertise: Interpret one-line diagrams and provide electrical expertise throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring the safe and efficient operation of electrical systems.
  • Power Systems Management: Manage power systems, PLCs, drives, and control systems, ensuring optimal performance and minimizing downtime.
  • Maintenance Support: Provide occasional maintenance support and manage Arc-Flash Program oversight, ensuring the safety of personnel and equipment.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • Experience: Experience with electrical infrastructure, PLCs, drives, and high-voltage systems (13.8kV and under).
  • Skills: Skilled with AutoCAD and power system modeling software, with strong project management skills and ability to manage multiple timelines.
