About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at Premise Health. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and services in our healthcare clinics.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough patient interviews to determine medical problems and document findings in patient charts.
  • Obtain and record patient vital signs and weight, and assist physicians with patient examinations as needed.
  • Review physician orders, lab requests, and follow-up needs with patients, and document services performed on appropriate forms.
  • Administer prescribed medication, orally or by subcutaneous or intermuscular injection, and note time and amount on patient charts.
  • Collect and process patient samples, such as urine, blood, and sputum, for testing and perform routine laboratory tests.
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment, including sterilizing equipment and supplies, and responding to patient inquiries and concerns.

Requirements:

  • Graduate of a National League for Nursing accredited program, Associate's degree (A.S.) and/or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school.
  • Licensed as a Practical or Vocational Nurse.
  • Current hands-on Certification in Basic Life Support, and Advanced Cardiac Life Support may also be required based on scope of contract services.
  • At least three years of clinical experience as a LPN/LVN in an ambulatory care, occupational health, or emergency department setting.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge about workplace health and safety concepts and OSHA regulations.
  • Strong computer skills, including Internet software, spreadsheet, and word processing.
  • Knowledge and experience with Electronic Medical Records.
