Medical Screener

At CSL Plasma, we are committed to helping people with rare and serious diseases live normal, healthy lives. As a Medical Screener, you will play a vital role in ensuring the quality and safety of our plasma donations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist donors in completing the screening process in compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
• Conduct health screening procedures, including blood pressure, pulse, weight, and temperature checks
• Answer basic medical questions associated with the donation process and refer donors to medical staff when necessary
• Perform finger stick tests to obtain donor hematocrit and total protein levels

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Minimum of three months experience in a clerical or customer service position, preferably in a medical or health provider environment

Working Conditions:

• Fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions
• Frequently exposed to hazardous chemicals and extreme temperatures
• Required to wear Personal Protective Equipment while performing specific tasks
