About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Administrative Assistant to join our team at New Mexico Highlands University. This full-time position offers a competitive salary of $16.54 per hour and a dynamic work environment.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent and at least two years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified. A completed degree above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year-for-year basis.

In addition to administrative experience, we are looking for someone who can:

  • Candidate must be able to gather data, compile information, and prepare reports;
  • Coordinate and organize meetings and/or special events;
  • Organize resources and establish priorities;
  • Knowledge of general accounting principles;
  • Analyze and solve problems;
