About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Commercial Lines Account Manager to join our vibrant finance team at Jobot. This is a permanent, full-time position where you will be responsible for managing and nurturing client relationships, maintaining insurance policies, and providing comprehensive financial services.

Job Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with clients, ensuring their financial and insurance needs are met.
  • Oversee the renewal process for existing insurance policies and manage the preparation and issuance of policy binders and certificates.
  • Review and analyze clients' current insurance coverages, identifying potential gaps and proposing suitable solutions.
  • Collaborate with the underwriting team to ensure policies are underwritten accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Manage the preparation and submission of insurance proposals and applications.
  • Handle customer inquiries and complaints, providing prompt and professional customer service.
  • Stay updated with the latest trends and developments in the finance industry, particularly in the areas of life, health, and benefits.
  • Collaborate with various teams to streamline operations and procedures, ensuring efficiency and compliance with industry standards.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role within the insurance industry.
  • Proven experience in insurance, financial services, property, casualty, operations, procedures, coverages, underwriting, customer service, proposals, applications, renewals, policy binders, certificates, policies, and account management.
  • Knowledge of life, health, and benefits is a plus.
  • Exceptional customer service skills, with the ability to build and maintain positive client relationships.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to understand and interpret complex financial information.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in using financial software and digital tools.
