Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Machine Operator to join our team at Kenco Logistics Services, LLC. As a Machine Operator, you will be responsible for facilitating the production, inspection, and packaging of materials in preparation for shipping and receiving demands to meet customer needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Receive, store, and distribute materials, tools, equipment, and products within established guidelines.
  • Perform cutting, chamfering, and other operations on materials to meet customer specifications.
  • Ensure accurate cut length, deflection, heat, and ingot ID are applied on each piece of material cut for traceability.
  • Maintain the integrity of traceability for all cutting operations.
  • Perform routine maintenance of equipment, including preventative maintenance and cleanliness of equipment and work area.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • 1+ years of production experience in a manufacturing environment required.
  • Knowledge of various tools and equipment, including manufacturing process equipment, personal protective equipment, measurement tools, and test equipment.
  • Ability to set-up and operate applicable machines, tools, and equipment.
  • Intermediate understanding of computers and/or the willingness to learn required.
