Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Polysomnographic Technologist to join our team at UCI Health, where you will play a critical role in diagnosing and treating sleep disorders.

About the Role

This is a full-time position that requires registration through BRPT and the Medical Board of California as a Polysomnographic Technologist. The successful candidate will have excellent written and verbal communication skills, be able to demonstrate customer service skills appropriate to the job, and possess the skill, knowledge, and ability essential to the successful performance of assigned duties.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct sleep studies to diagnose and determine therapy for patients with various sleep disorders.
  • Record and score sleep data, preparing raw data for physician and/or research interpretation.
  • Assist in the training and onboarding of new employees, providing guidance to sleep technicians and trainees.
  • Maintain accurate records of patient treatment and procedures.
Requirements
  • Registration through BRPT and the Medical Board of California as a Polysomnographic Technologist.
  • Licensed RCP in California; and/or current RRT, CRT certification.
  • Must possess the skill, knowledge and ability essential to the successful performance of assigned duties.
  • Demonstrated critical thinking and analytical skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position is estimated to be around $70,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience. Additionally, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical insurance, sick and vacation time, retirement savings plans, and access to a number of discounts and perks.
