Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Front Office Manager to join our team at ROOST Detroit. As a Front Office Manager, you will be responsible for providing exceptional guest service, managing the front desk operations, and ensuring a seamless experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the front desk operations, including check-in and check-out procedures, room assignments, and guest requests.
  • Provide exceptional guest service, responding to guest inquiries and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Supervise and train front desk staff, ensuring they are knowledgeable about hotel policies and procedures.
  • Monitor and control hotel inventory, including linens, toiletries, and other supplies.
  • Assist with room assignments, including ensuring that rooms are clean and ready for guests.
  • Manage the hotel's customer satisfaction surveys, including uploading guest information and responding to reviews.
  • Assist with Accounts Payable duties, ensuring timely payment to vendors while managing individual line expenses.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 2 years of management experience in the hotel industry.
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • Self-starter with an entrepreneurial spirit.
  • Command of English Language- both spoken and written.
  • Ability to access and accurately input information using a moderately complex computer system.
  • Punctuality and regular and reliable attendance.
  • Experience with cost controls and yield management.
  • Ability to work a variety of varying schedules (PM and Weekend availability).
