Job Summary

Buddys Home Furnishing is seeking a highly skilled Credit Manager to join our team. As a key member of our store operations, you will be responsible for managing customer accounts, ensuring compliance with company policies, and maintaining high-quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Acquire and maintain customers through effective account management and sales strategies.
  • Act as a liaison between customers and the sales team, promoting timely rental/lease agreement renewal payments.
  • Assist in managing store personnel, directing activities, and ensuring compliance with company policies.
  • Prepare and review store reports, documenting customer commitments and ensuring company standards are met.
  • Manage customer accounts, inventory, and cash assets, ensuring efficient store operations.
  • Prepare daily work schedules, delivery schedules, and assign tasks to ensure effective store management.
Requirements
  • Effective organizational skills and ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Established collection skills and ability to negotiate and resolve conflicts.
  • Good communication skills and ability to read, write, and communicate effectively with employees and customers.
  • Ability to learn and become proficient in POS systems and maintain professional appearance.
  • Must be able to read, write, and communicate effectively in person and over the phone with employees and customers.
Qualifications
  • Two years' experience in Rent-to-Own, retail, or other business emphasizing customer service, account management, sales, and merchandising.
  • General physical requirements include lifting, loading, moving, and using a dolly for merchandise pounds, stooping, bending, pulling, climbing, reaching, and grabbing as required.
