We are seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team at Crossroads Treatment Centers.
About the RoleThe AR Specialist will play a vital role in ensuring timely and accurate payment from insurance providers for our patients receiving outpatient medication-assisted treatment. This position requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective communication with payers.
Key Responsibilities- Responsible for analyzing and resolving accounts receivable discrepancies, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Analyze patient accounting information to identify coding and billing concerns, interpreting payer contracts and identifying variances affecting reimbursement.
- Leverage available resources and systems to resolve payment issues, document all activity according to organizational policies.
- Maintain quality and productivity results, meeting departmental standards as measured by daily/weekly/monthly averages.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in accounts receivable in a physician office setting.
- Familiarity with HCPCS, CPT-4, and ICD-10 coding and/or medical terminology.
- General knowledge of multiple payer requirements and regulations for claims processing.
- $55,000 - $65,000 per year (based on location and experience).
