Job Summary

ABM Industries is seeking a skilled Building Maintenance Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of all building systems, including HVAC, electrical, and plumbing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on building systems, including HVAC, electrical, and plumbing.
  • Respond to customer requests and submit work orders as necessary.
  • Work with the Chief Engineer to develop and implement maintenance schedules and procedures.
  • Assist in emergency situations, including after-hours calls.
  • Participate in training and professional development to stay up-to-date on industry best practices.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Basic knowledge of building systems and maintenance procedures.
  • Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment and materials.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
