Salon Leader

Purpose:

The Salon Manager's primary objective is to drive business success and foster an environment where employees can excel. The manager serves as a role model, inspiring creativity and respect while upholding the Supercuts Operating Principles and Brand Promise.

Duties:

In addition to the Shift/Assistant and Intern Manager duties, the Salon Manager is responsible for: Leadership and Development

• Interviewing and hiring staff to build a strong team
• Evaluating employee performance through effective 1:1's and setting goals for individuals and the salon
• Documenting important conversations, incidents, and goals
• Approving time off (communicate with your Area Manager if short-staffed)
• Conducting salon meetings and collaborating with the Technical Trainer on opportunities
• Taking inventory and placing orders
• Developing a talent bench within the salon for career advancement

Qualifications:

Requirements

• Strong 360 Service Experience and technical skills
• Ability to coach, lead, and inspire others effectively
• Business management skills, including goal setting, scheduling, cash handling, reporting, and more
• Lead by example, demonstrating professionalism and flexibility
• Outstanding communication skills and email etiquette
• Effective time management and organization skills
• Professional appearance and presence
• Flexible availability and current Cosmetology or Barber's license (manager's license applicable per state cosmetology laws)

Compensation: $60,000 - $80,000 annually, depending on location and experience. This estimate may vary based on individual circumstances.
