Senior IT Operations Manager

Job Summary:
We are seeking a Senior IT Operations Manager to oversee and manage operational, financial, and contractual delivery aspects of projects for our federal client in Washington D.C.
Key Responsibilities:
- Directs all phases of programs from inception through completion.
- Responsible for the cost, schedule, and technical performance of company programs or subsystems of major programs.
- Participates in the negotiation of contract and contract changes.
- Responsible to meet required contractual performance metrics such as SLAs, KPIs, OPI, etc.
- Responsible to meet program financial metrics.
- Coordinates the preparation of proposals, business plans, proposal work statements and specifications, operating budgets, and financial terms/conditions of contract.
- Acts as primary customer contact for program activities, leading program review sessions with customer to discuss cost, schedule, and technical performance.
- Establishes design concepts, criteria, and engineering efforts for product research, development, integration, and test.
- Develops new business or expands the product line with the customer.
- Establishes milestones and monitors adherence to master plans and schedules, identifies program problems, and obtains solutions, such as allocation of resources or changing contractual specifications.
- Directs the work of employees assigned to the program from technical and administrative areas.
- Functions as the senior business leader on the program, determining our customers' needs and priorities, coordinating technical solutions responses to those needs, helping to shape customer acquisitions, and positioning GDIT to deliver best-in-class services.
- Conducts planning and provides recommendations to the client on task workload.
- Manages risk tracking process.
- Attends customer meetings and serves as client liaison.
- Interacts with vendors, other agencies, and client staff and stakeholders.
- Coordinates development of and timely delivery of contractual deliverables.
Requirements:
- Ten years of Enterprise IT Infrastructure Program Management, leading a large team of 80+ individuals.
- Experience managing Data Centers with 1000+ Servers, 1,000+ network devices, and 10+ PB of storage.
- Experience supporting at least one of the following emerging technologies: Cloud, Big Data, Cyber, and Managed Services.
- PMP Certification.
- ITIL certification.
- Certifications in CISSP, AWS/Azure is a plus.
- Candidates must be eligible to obtain a federal security clearance.

Salary Range: $170,000 - $230,000. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Salary will be set based on experience, geographic location, and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
