Job Summary

Stratas Foods is seeking a skilled Laboratory Technician Level II to join our team. As a key member of our laboratory, you will be responsible for analyzing oil samples and ensuring the quality of our products.

Responsibilities

• Analyze oil samples using various analytical tests
• Communicate test results to the facilitator when corrective action is necessary
• Prioritize oil samples as they arrive in the laboratory
• Complete truck paperwork to ensure timely shipments
• Record data in written logs and enter test results into an automated Quality Control Database
• Perform quality assurance tasks, including packaging line quality assurance and finished product testing
• Store production retains and communicate with the supervisor/lead person of laboratory results

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent required
• Three years of previous laboratory experience preferred
• Basic data entry skills required
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively

Working Conditions

This is a third-shift position, working 10:30pm - 7:00am, with weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed. The employee will be required to walk, sit, and stand regularly, and will need to use hands, arms, and fingers to perform tasks. The physical requirements include the ability to lift 50 pounds, climb stairs, and work in confined spaces.
