About the Role:

The Branch Manager II is a key leadership position responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a medium-sized remote bank facility. This role ensures the branch meets organizational, financial, operational, service, and growth plans. The successful candidate will be responsible for directing the operations of the branch, ensuring customers are promptly and professionally served, and training, directing, and supervising branch staff.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage direct reports to maximize productivity, efficiency, and the potential of the human assets of the company.
  • Underwrite loans within authorized levels and review loan underwriting decisions of subordinate personnel.
  • Represent the branch in its relationships with customers, business, community, and civic organizations, as well as suppliers, other financial institutions, and other similar groups.
  • Monitor all branch activities to ensure compliance with established bank policies, procedures, and government regulations.
  • Prepare and submit standard reports and attend scheduled management meetings.
Requirements:
  • 7 or more years of similar or related experience, including preparatory experience.
  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Excellent understanding of banking regulations and compliance.
  • Strong ability to solve problems and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective personal working relationships with peers and supervisors.
