Job Title: Radiology Technologist

Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist to join our team in College Station, Texas.

About the Role:

We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to perform radiology procedures on ambulatory and hospital patients. The successful candidate will work under the general supervision of a Radiologist and will be responsible for maintaining production and quality of imaging procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform high-quality radiology procedures according to exam protocol in a timely manner.
  • Maintain production and quality of imaging procedures by following established standards and procedures.
  • Utilize AIDET when communicating with patients to identify service requirements, ensure correct exams are performed, and establish rapport.
  • Prepare patients and areas for procedures by positioning patients, adjusting immobilization devices, and moving equipment into position.
  • Protect patients and employees by adhering to safety requirements, infection-control policies, and radiation policies.
  • Maintain equipment and work areas to meet quality and cleanliness standards.
  • Assist in maintaining supplies inventory and reporting issues to management.
  • Ensure people are safe to enter the department by screening them according to approved policies and procedures.
Requirements:
  • ARRT-R Radiography certification.
  • Ability to perform high-quality radiology procedures according to exam protocol in a timely manner.
  • Ability to explain procedures and put patients at ease.
  • Ability to provide services in a timely, accurate, and cost-efficient manner.
  • Ability to maintain a calm and helpful attitude, even under times of stress.
  • Ability to ensure customer satisfaction by limiting wait times and providing courteous service.
