We are seeking a highly skilled Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our team at TriStar Summit Medical Center. As an Echo Technologist, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our diagnostic imaging department.
About the RoleThis is a full-time opportunity for a motivated and experienced professional to work in a dynamic environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing various imaging procedures, collaborating with healthcare teams, and ensuring excellent patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Perform a range of imaging procedures, including echocardiograms, using advanced technology and techniques.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
- Provide clear and concise information to patients and families regarding procedures, results, and follow-up care.
- Maintain accurate records and reports, adhering to regulatory standards and hospital policies.
- Participate in ongoing training and education to stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices.
- Graduate of a Diagnostic Echo Medical Sonography Program or equivalent experience.
- ARDMS or CCI registration, with eligibility to obtain within 6 months.
- American Heart BLS certification, maintained according to hospital policy.
- Minimum one year of experience in a similar role, preferred.
