We are seeking a talented Electronics Engineer to join our fast-growing team in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. At Northrop Grumman, we pride ourselves on being at the forefront of technological advancements and solving complex problems.

About the Role

As an Electronics Engineer, you will support the Lead Engineer in executing various program activities, including test system design and evaluation, communication systems architecture, and electrical system development. Your responsibilities will include analyzing complex electronic circuitry, identifying obsolescence issues, and developing solutions to ensure system safety and performance specifications.

You will work closely with our team to establish design concepts, criteria, and engineering efforts for product research, development, integration, and test. Additionally, you will identify program problems and assist in establishing solutions, such as allocating resources, improving processes, or changing contractual specifications.

Your expertise will be utilized to perform functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation, and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications. You will also generate reports and present to government counterparts, defense contractors, and other cross-functional organizations.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline with a minimum of 2 years of engineering experience or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline with a minimum of 0 years of engineering experience
  • Ability to diagnose/troubleshoot/repair hardware components
  • Experience with CAD or similar design tools
  • Experience with aerospace systems
  • Experience with Air Force customers and aerospace industry and military standards
Preferred Qualifications
  • Active DoD Secret Security Clearance (or higher)
  • Experience with test planning at the circuit card, equipment, and system level
  • Experience with nuclear hardened systems
  • Experience with information security, COMSEC, and TEMPEST
  • Experience with DOORS and general requirements management best practices
  • Experience with embedded software development and/or cybersecurity
  • Experience conducting analysis of electrical components within aircraft maintenance programs, determining effectiveness, and creating written recommendations for increasing efficiency and effectiveness
  • Experience with RF systems
  • Ability to diagnose/troubleshoot/repair hardware components
  • Experience with CAD or similar design tools
  • Experience with aerospace systems
  • Experience with Air Force customers and aerospace industry and military standards
Benefits

Northrop Grumman offers a competitive salary range of $73,100 - $109,700, depending on qualifications and experience. In addition to base pay, employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus and long-term incentives. We provide a variety of benefits, including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, company-paid holidays, and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
