Job Description

The insurance sales executive will oversee and manage office sales activities and procedures to ensure organizational effectiveness and efficiency of sales expectations.

This role requires an energetic professional who is not hesitant to take on multiple responsibilities. Experience in handling a wide range of administrative and executive sales support related tasks, with the ability to work independently with little or no supervision, is essential.

Our ideal candidate is well-organized, flexible, and enjoys the administrative sales challenges of supporting an office of diverse individuals.

4 Month Training Program

Month 1- Techniques of appointment setting. Work as an understudy to a licensed sales producer. Weekly appointment setting goals are expected.

Month 2- Fully licensed. Appointment setting AND cold calling on auto and home leads. Weekly goals are expected.

Month 3- Fully licensed. Appointment setting, Cold calling and business quoting. Weekly goals are expected.

Month 4- Fully licensed. Licensed Sales Producer. Insurance Sales, Commercial Business prospecting, Cold-Calling. Weekly Goals Expected.

Responsibilities
  1. Meet new business production goals and objectives as established.
  • Recruiting New Sales Associates
  • Solicits for new business via networking, and other lead sources.
  • Develop insurance sales presentations and closes sales.
  • Develop ongoing networking relationships with Real Estate Agents, Mortgage Lenders, Title Companies, Auto Dealers, etc.
  • Develop new Financial Services opportunities.

  • Be a fantastic presenter.
  • Excellent Communication/interpersonal skills.
  • Must have ability to multi-task.

  • A terrific presenter and communicator, and a barracuda closer.
  • Follow through and exceed current and prospective client expectations.
  • Career minded vision.
  • Excellent Spelling and Grammar skills.
  • Exceptional Business Writing and Editing Skills.
  • Great Customer Service Skills.
  • Problem-Solving Capabilities.
  • Property & Casualty insurance license is required.
  • Life insurance License is required (Health and Series 6,63 Desired)
  • Responds to all inquiries, cancellation requests, and sales requests within a specified timeframe.
  • Life & Health Insurance license required.
  • Display leadership competencies, including ability to delegate, engage, and inspire others.
  • Minimum education: Associates degree in Business.
  • Strong work ethic and leadership skills.
  • Successful sales background.
  • Minimum 3-5 years prior sales experience is preferred.
  • Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Driven and goal-oriented individual.
  • Previous work experience in sales, marketing, promotions or telemarketing.
  • Knowledge of sales and marketing principles and strategies.
  • Be equipped with great listening and closing skills.
  • Bilingual, fluent in both English and Spanish is beneficial.
