About the Role:

Gannett Fleming is seeking an experienced Transportation Inspector to join our team in the West Region. As a key member of our inspection team, you will be responsible for observing and documenting contractor's work, verifying compliance with plans and specifications, and providing support to the Resident Engineer in the resolution of construction issues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare daily reports and monitor quality control testing
  • Coordinate quality assurance testing and measure quantities and document
  • Monitor contractor schedules and assist with documenting payment applications and change orders
  • Assist with constructability reviews and update As-Built drawings
  • Resolve technical issues in the field and provide support to the Resident Engineer

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma and 3+ years of transportation-related inspection experience
  • Must possess a driver's license and proficiency with MS Office (Excel, Word, and Outlook)
