Job Summary

The Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) plays a pivotal role in delivering high-quality, patient-centered care and ensuring efficient unit operations at Medical City Dallas. As a key member of the management team, the CNC directs, monitors, and evaluates nursing care in accordance with established policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to create an environment of teamwork that supports improved outcomes and service.
  • Support a patient-first philosophy and engage in service recovery when necessary.
  • Participate in the ongoing assessment of the quality of patient care services provided in the unit.
  • Assist with admission and discharge processes to ensure efficient throughput and high-quality care.
  • Provide recommendations related to interviewing, selecting, and training new staff.
  • Support the efforts of the facility to improve engagement by operationalizing current nursing strategies.
  • Assist with staff scheduling and manage labor in accordance with patient care needs.
  • Support proper inventory control and assist with managing supplies and equipment.

What You Will Need

  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of employment start date.
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of employment start date.
  • Registered Nurse licensure and a BSN degree are required.
  • Minimum 1 year of acute care RN experience is necessary.
