We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Patient Care Technician to join our team at ClearSky Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Baytown, TX. As a Patient Care Technician, you will provide direct, non-invasive bedside care to patients under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse.
Key Responsibilities:- Prioritize and deliver basic patient care, including bathing, toileting, feeding, grooming, etc.
- Perform and document vital signs, measures and records intake and output, weights, specimen collections, etc.
- Transfer patients utilizing proper body mechanics and safe patient handling techniques.
- Report any changes observed in condition or behavior of patient to appropriate nursing personnel.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- 2 years of experience in inpatient hospital setting preferred.
- Knowledge of current clinical operations and procedures.
- Demonstrates knowledge of appropriate Infection Prevention and proper body mechanics.
