Job Summary

Fresenius Medical Care North America is seeking a skilled Dialysis Patient Care Technician to join our team. As a Dialysis Patient Care Technician, you will play a vital role in providing safe and effective dialysis therapy for patients under the direct supervision of a licensed nurse.

Key Responsibilities
  • Setup and operate hemodialysis machines
  • Assist in maintaining a safe and clean working environment
  • Support the organization commitment to the Quality Enhancement Program (QEP) and CQI Activities
  • Provide patient education and training on dialysis procedures
  • Conduct machine safety checks and report any unusual findings to the registered nurse or supervisor
Requirements
  • High school diploma or G.E.D.
  • Must meet Center for Medicaid/Medicare Services (CMS)-approved state and/or national certification requirements
  • Previous patient care experience in a hospital setting or related facility preferred
