Account Manager for Autonomous Mobile Robots

About the Role

Magna Services is seeking a highly skilled Account Manager to join our New Mobility group. This individual will be responsible for managing sales related to our New Mobility AMR & Software suite of services. We are looking for someone with a background in robotics and a passion for sales & customer relations.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of the automated material handling industry (within a manufacturing environment), autonomous robots, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as primary point of contact for sales customers, working cross-functionally to manage needs and resolve customer issues.
  • Manage the commercial elements on each opportunity throughout pre-sales, development and after SOP to identify and immediately address all commercial issues.
  • Work with Solutions Engineers (Software & AMR) to understand customer issues and improve AMR & Software suite of services.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue, profit, and drive market growth targets, aligning with overall business strategy.
  • Work with Sales Director to establish and monitor the sales process, including CRM tool configuration and management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Skilled with Microsoft Excel and other MS Office products.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales and account management, substantial knowledge of robotics & software commercialized as a service and a proven track record of closing deals.
  • Preferred experience in robotics or automation industries.
  • Experience in customer-facing roles.
  • Experience documenting and reporting updates and current onsite activities.
