Salary

The estimated annual salary for this position is $85,000-$110,000, depending on experience and qualifications.

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Regulatory Affairs Specialist to lead the Raw Material Qualification Approval processes. The successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing and analyzing documentation from suppliers, performing risk analyses, creating raw material specifications, and building required specifications and testing parameters into Valentine's ERP system.

This role requires strong knowledge of raw material compliance requirements and implementation techniques, as well as superior communication and analytical skills. The ideal candidate will be able to handle multiple assignments simultaneously and work effectively with cross-functional teams.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Biology, Chemistry, Microbiology, or equivalent work experience
  • 3+ years' work experience in CFR 111 or 117 complaint facility
  • PCQI Certified or willingness to attain certification
  • Strong knowledge of raw material compliance requirements and implementation techniques
  • Superior communication and analytical skills
  • Ability to work successfully with cross-functional teams
