Warehouse Operations Specialist

Job Summary:
The Warehouse Operator is a key member of our team at Novocure, supporting the warehousing activities in our Portsmouth facility. This role is responsible for receiving incoming materials, preparing shipments, maintaining stock levels, and ensuring compliance with quality system requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Unload delivery trucks safely and efficiently
- Verify incoming shipments and match to documentation
- Perform transactions to receive inventory from patients or vendors
- Maintain records on incoming shipments
- Clean equipment according to procedure
- Ensure activities comply with Novocure Quality System requirements
- Place pallets in racking using material handling equipment safely
- Maintain FIFO operations in the warehouse
- Perform accurate inventory counts
- Notify manager when inventory levels are outside Kanban levels
- Perform warehouse maintenance
- Pick, pack, and ship orders
- Transfer inventory to patients or DSS team
- Fill out documentation for shipments
- Label hazmat shipments correctly
- Fill out international documents as required
- Load delivery trucks safely and efficiently
- Maintain records on outgoing shipments
- Confirm deliveries have been made to patients
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA rules and regulations
Qualifications/Knowledge:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1-2 years relevant experience
- Good written and oral communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills, ability to multi-task
- Team driven, able to work within/out of the department
- Execute responsibilities with minimal direct supervision
- High attention to detail
- Ability to use typical software packages with minimal training
- Complete training and demonstrate safe operation of material handling equipment
- Experience preferred, but not required
- Understanding of GMP, GDP, or ISO 14385 is a plus
