Job Description

We are seeking an Onsite Interpreter to join our team at Propio Language Services.

Founded in 1998, Propio Language Services closes the language gap by connecting people anywhere and anytime through innovative technology and solutions.

We provide critical interpreting and translation services that improve the quality of life with the communities we engage in.

Our services include remote and on-site interpreting in over 350 languages for over 6,000 clients.

Job Responsibilities

  • Provide consecutive in-person and virtual interpretation via phone and video remote.
  • Follow interpreter protocols and procedures as required by clients.
  • Maintain patient confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA, FERPA, GLBA, and regulatory requirements.
  • Establish quality service and positive interaction with patients, customers, and healthcare providers.
  • Continuously improve vocabulary and specialized subject matter knowledge.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Intermediate computer skills.
  • Access to reliable transportation.
  • Ability to provide updated vaccinations and pass a background check.
  • Successful completion of a drug test.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 1+ years of interpreting experience.
