Job Summary:

The Pit Clerk is a key member of our Caesars LV team, responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our casino pit. This role requires strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage data entry and clerical functions, including operating a computer and processing information for hotel marketing, credit, and auditing reports.
  • Handle rating slips, fills, and credit, as well as issue and buy back markers.
  • Communicate with cage personnel to determine customer credit lines and transmit pit credit information.
  • Issue and maintain credit information for marker play in the casino.
  • Balance markers to table cards and transfer markers to the Casino Cage.
  • Keep logs of all fills and credits issued on the gaming tables.
  • Generate casino comp error reports and track bets on tracking sheets.

Requirements:

  • Effective communication in English, both verbal and written, in a professional manner.
  • Presentation of a neat and professional appearance.
  • Ability to perform basic math functions.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts.
  • Proven knowledge and experience on assigned game.
  • 3 to 5 years of casino experience, preferably in pit operations.
  • Nevada Gaming card required.

Physical, Mental, and Environmental Demands:

This role requires working in a fast-paced environment with multiple tasks to be managed under time constraints. The ability to tolerate secondhand smoke and manage a heavy business volume, as well as sensitive situations, is essential. Prolonged sitting and standing are also required.
